Romantic oboe A=440.
Grenadilla wood or boxwood.
I have always had a lot of respect for Charles Triébert, a maker of innovation. His intention of experiments on the oboe are very well understandable for a maker always seeking for something more ideal, which is why I admire him.
However, for my romantic oboe I have decided to go more down the German line of Grundmann – Bormann – Golde. Keeping Triébert’s philosophy of innovation in mind, I will make my own adjustments to this type of oboe, to strive for the ideal.
